BOARDING FACILITIES

Having a neat, clean farm that is not overpopulated with horses, but is comfortable and calm puts a horse at ease.  Horses at peace just do better and that’s what I strive for.

I like a horse to be raised outside on that good Kentucky grass.  There is no place better.

Amende Place rests on 125 acres in the heart of the bluegrass.  With the tremendous racing history of Bourbon County apparent around every corner, we consider ourselves fortunate to be part of it.

We offer a full service boarding operation for mares, foals and yearlings.  This includes foaling and breeding mares, vanning mares to the breeding shed and sales prep.

Veterinarian care is provided by Dr. Perry Warnall of the Harrison Vet Clinic, Hagyard Equine Medical and Park Equine.

Our facilities are made up of 4 barns with 48 stalls between them with multiple paddocks and fields for turn out.  The majority of our boarders are full time with some space for seasonal boarders.

Our family home is located on the farm which gives us the opportunity to care for your horse around the clock.
